Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced network security architectures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations for major enterprises
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM platforms
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required (CISSP preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Proven experience with Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk SIEM
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and automation frameworks
- Ability to handle high-pressure incident response scenarios
