Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture supporting 10M+ daily transactions
- Lead technical initiatives for Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Mentor 3-5 engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and A/B testing methodologies
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent NextGen Tech at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in production-level software development with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems design and AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers through complex projects
- Strong background in CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to large-scale systems
