Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and cloud-native architectures
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining high-quality standards
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues during night shift operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver agile sprint deliverables
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using AWS and Terraform
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
- Ensure security best practices across all development lifecycles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems
- Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
