Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems specifically for Equity Options execution.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and increase throughput in real-time market data feeds.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to translate mathematical models into robust software solutions.
- Implement fault-tolerant infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime during critical market hours.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for scalable finance software.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (required) and Python (desired).
- Deep understanding of operating systems, networking, and multithreading.
- Experience with FIX protocols and financial market data feeds.
- Previous experience in high-frequency trading, market making, or Equity Options infrastructure is a major plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a 'hands-on' approach.
