What You'll Do:
Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes. Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. Optimize system performance and maintainability while ensuring security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS, Docker, and Terraform
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven systems with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, load) and debugging
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
- Mentor engineers through pair programming and design sessions
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
