Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion prevention systems
- Document network topology and create/update technical documentation
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Collaborate with cloud services for hybrid network solutions
- Perform regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with wireless networks (Wi-Fi 6) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong diagnostic skills with network analyzers and monitoring tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
