Responsibilities
- Prompt Architecture: Design complex, multi-turn prompts that elicit high-quality, contextually accurate responses from LLMs.
- Optimization & Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and iterative refinement of prompt chains to maximize output accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and Backend Engineers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into our API and product interfaces.
- Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive library of prompt templates and version control documentation for the engineering team.
- Analytics: Analyze user feedback and model performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Tool Development: Build internal tools and scripts to automate prompt generation and evaluation processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Prompt Engineering, NLP, or Computational Linguistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.
- LLM Knowledge: Deep understanding of transformer architectures, fine-tuning processes, and prompt engineering methodologies.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to debug complex conversational logic.
- Communication: Exceptional written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
