Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events on a 24/7/365 basis.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify risks.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents using established incident response methodologies.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to correlate global threat data.
- Document all security activities, incidents, and remediation steps in the SIEM.
- Perform regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Security.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm, or similar) and EDR solutions.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong understanding of malware analysis and reverse engineering basics.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
