Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, or similar).
- Perform deep-dive analysis, triage, and containment of security incidents and data breaches.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Incident Response and Engineering, to remediate threats.
- Generate and maintain detailed reports on incident trends, security metrics, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory standards (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Security Operations or Network Security.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, attack vectors, and incident response methodologies.
- Experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) and log analysis tools.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift (e.g., 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
