Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and usability testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for critical user journeys
- Lead defect lifecycle management in JIRA with 99% resolution SLA
- Collaborate with Agile teams to refine acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Document test cases and maintain QA documentation in Confluence
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Champion continuous integration through automated pipeline integration
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and tool proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA testing experience with SaaS applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB Foundation certification preferred
