Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Document bugs meticulously using JIRA and collaborate with developers for timely resolutions
- Automate test scripts using Selenium and Cypress for continuous integration pipelines
- Validate API endpoints using Postman and Swagger documentation
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA insights during sprint planning
- Maintain test environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Mentor junior QA testers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with web and mobile applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or ISTQB Foundation preferred
- Experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
