Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and validate functionality
- Document test results, bugs, and user scenarios in JIRA with clear, actionable details
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes
- Design test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing scenarios
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium and Cypress
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to align testing with sprint objectives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing with manual and automation exposure
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and network analysis
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
