Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test scripts covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other QA tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and quality standards
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable recommendations for improvement
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain and update test documentation, test plans, and test cases
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on software QA testing experience with proven track record
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC processes
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
