Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular network audits and security assessments to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to and resolve network outages and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the physical installation of cabling infrastructure (fiber, copper, and wireless).
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance logs accurately.
- Collaborate with the Help Desk and System Administrators to resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, LAN, WAN, and VLANs.
- Proven experience with network troubleshooting and hardware maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift equipment and work in various physical conditions as required.
