Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans for web/mobile applications using manual and automated testing methodologies
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues during sprint cycles
- Design and maintain regression test suites to ensure continuous product integrity
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders to validate business requirements
- Implement performance, security, and compatibility testing across multiple browsers/devices
- Analyze test data to identify trends and propose quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA testing with SaaS/web applications
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Expert knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
