Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit to accelerate validation cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects with precision in JIRA and defect management systems
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes in staging environments
- Analyze test results to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Maintain test documentation and QA artifacts for audit compliance
- Participate in sprint planning ceremonies to align quality objectives with development milestones
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management platforms
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments
- ISTQB Foundation certification preferred
