Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans for web/mobile applications using both manual and automated methodologies
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and implement regression test strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and quality standards
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress frameworks
- Conduct performance testing and security vulnerability assessments
- Mentor junior QA engineers and improve team testing methodologies
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted in lieu)
- Proven expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ISTQB Advanced Level preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in fintech or regulated industry testing
- Proficient in SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
