Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, write detailed test cases, and execute regression testing.
- Integrate automated testing into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid feedback loops.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, providing clear reproduction steps and severity assessments.
- Perform load testing and performance tuning to ensure system scalability under heavy traffic.
- Stay abreast of emerging QA trends and tools to recommend process improvements and automation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java scripting.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
