Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test cases using Selenium/Cypress and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with clear severity ratings
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyze test metrics to drive quality improvements and process optimizations
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and testing frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with emphasis on web/mobile applications
- Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or equivalent preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
