Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing integration
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and emerging tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA automation with 3+ years in Selenium/Cypress
- Expertise in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL database validation
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Proficiency in Python or Java for test script development
- Certified Professional Tester (CSTE) or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
