Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Craft complex, multi-turn prompts for LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) to maximize output quality and relevance.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with data science teams to curate datasets and fine-tune models for specific industry applications.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and user feedback analysis to iterate and improve prompt effectiveness.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on prompt engineering best practices and internal tooling for the wider engineering team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into user-facing products.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related AI field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages to manipulate API outputs.
- AI Knowledge: Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, tokenization, and the limitations of current LLMs.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Problem Solving: Ability to deconstruct complex user requirements into actionable prompt strategies.
