Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt architectures for large language models (LLMs) and conversational AI systems
- Develop prompt frameworks that ensure AI outputs are accurate, ethical, and aligned with brand voice
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into production AI applications
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations to maximize user engagement
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering best practices
- Partner with data scientists to refine model behavior through iterative prompt refinement
- Stay current with emerging AI research and prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI/ML field
- Proven track record of designing prompts for production-level language models (GPT, Claude, LLaMA)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and LLM limitations
- Experience with prompt optimization techniques (few-shot learning, chain-of-thought, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects and results
