Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for GPT-4, Claude, and other advanced LLMs
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks for enterprise AI applications
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model fine-tuning
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt development lifecycle
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate prompt effectiveness and iterate improvements
- Train cross-functional teams on prompt engineering methodologies
- Research emerging techniques in zero-shot/few-shot learning and chain-of-thought prompting
- Develop metrics to quantify prompt performance and business impact
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused AI roles
- Expertise in designing prompts for production-level LLM applications
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in OpenAI API integration
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for accuracy, efficiency, and bias mitigation
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with prompt versioning tools (e.g., LangSmith, Promptbase)
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts
- Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field preferred
