Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize high-impact prompts for LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama) to maximize accuracy and relevance.
- Develop and maintain a library of prompt templates for various use cases, including content generation, code assistance, and customer support automation.
- Analyze model outputs to identify hallucinations, biases, or performance gaps, and iterate on prompt strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into our AI development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and generative AI to continuously improve our technical stack.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct workshops on effective prompt design.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in prompt engineering, AI interaction design, or a related technical field.
- Strong command of the English language with exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of LLM architecture, including transformer models and tokenization.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is a strong plus.
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks to evaluate prompt performance metrics.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable prompt instructions.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote-friendly setting.
