Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for large language models to achieve desired outputs
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries for various AI applications including chatbots and content generation
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model parameters based on prompt performance
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate prompt effectiveness and iterate based on results
- Document prompt engineering methodologies and best practices
- Train stakeholders on prompt optimization techniques
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP roles
- Proficiency with Python and experience with LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Hugging Face)
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot AI output inconsistencies
- Excellent written communication and creative problem-solving abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects and results
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
