Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompts for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4, Claude, and custom enterprise models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective prompt strategies
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations to maximize output quality
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks and best practices for diverse AI applications
- Document prompt libraries and maintain version control for enterprise-scale deployments
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and prompt engineering methodologies
- Train junior team members on prompt optimization techniques and ethical AI practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in prompt engineering or NLP development
- Expertise with LLM platforms including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hugging Face
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate prompt effectiveness through quantitative metrics
- Experience developing prompts for enterprise applications in regulated industries
