Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and lead forensic analysis
- Develop and implement security protocols for network/system protection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Generate incident response reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC or analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
