Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt architectures for large language models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
- Develop scalable prompt engineering frameworks for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt solutions into production systems
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt best practices
- Conduct A/B testing to measure prompt performance and iterate improvements
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design methodologies
- Stay current with emerging AI model capabilities and techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of prompt engineering or NLP experience with production AI systems
- Expertise in crafting prompts for complex reasoning, coding, and creative tasks
- Strong Python programming skills with ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt specifications
- Familiarity with AI alignment, safety protocols, and ethical AI development
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving abilities
- BS/MS in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
