Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and security patches on network hardware and software systems.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and optimize existing network infrastructure.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues related to network access and hardware.
- Conduct regular audits of network security and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar networking certification is preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
