Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize advanced prompt architectures for large language models
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and documentation
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt strategies with model capabilities
- Conduct A/B testing to measure prompt effectiveness and iterate improvements
- Create reusable prompt templates for enterprise automation solutions
- Analyze model outputs to identify prompt optimization opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering best practices
- Stay current with emerging AI research and prompt engineering techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP domain
- Proficiency with Python and experience with LLM frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for production AI systems
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI models
- Excellent analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving approach
- Strong written communication with ability to explain complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects and results
