Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with detailed reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolutions
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data for new features
- Perform regression testing on existing functionality to prevent regression issues
- Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) to improve processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience in software development
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
