Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems
- Implement and manage Cisco/Juniper switches, routers, and firewalls with advanced security protocols
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Lead network migration projects and disaster recovery planning for critical business systems
- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to integrate hybrid cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Document network architectures and create comprehensive technical documentation
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and mentor junior technicians
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent industry certification required
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, SDN, and network virtualization technologies
- Strong background in network security including IDS/IPS, VPNs, and zero-trust architecture
- Proficiency in automation tools (Python, Ansible) for network provisioning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Active Security+ certification or equivalent cybersecurity credential
