Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using Prometheus/Grafana
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks
- Document architecture decisions and create runbooks for operational teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expertise in at least one IaC tool (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancers, DNS)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
