Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure optimal uptime and data integrity.
- Manage IP addressing, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff regarding network issues and connectivity.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with vendors and management to plan network upgrades and expansions.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ is highly desired.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting.
- Experience with network security protocols and VPN configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
