Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Aruba network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls and VPNs
- Document network topology and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid cloud integration projects
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNP or equivalent Cisco certification required
- Proficiency in VLAN configuration and OSPF/BGP routing
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela preferred)
- Familiarity with Azure/AWS cloud networking services
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible/Python)
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Ability to travel 1-2 days monthly to Fort Wayne office
