Your Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot complex network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform network audits and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security protocols.
- Ensure network performance optimization and reliability across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes accurately using ticketing systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users.
- Manage cabling infrastructure and conduct physical site surveys for network expansion.
- Respond to and resolve critical network outages with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Valid CCNA, CCNP, or similar Cisco certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration and technical support.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), and switching technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) and VPN configurations.
- Strong understanding of network security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
