Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management to ensure system security and stability.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, latency problems, and hardware failures efficiently.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and ensure seamless communication.
- Conduct physical cabling tasks, including termination, testing, and labeling of fiber and copper cabling.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Certification such as CCNA, Network+, or CompTIA Security+ is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI models, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
