Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues with minimal downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects
- Document network architecture and create technical documentation
- Lead network optimization initiatives for performance improvements
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior technicians
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certification required
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and SD-WAN solutions
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work on-call rotational schedule
