Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Lead automated testing initiatives using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-standard frameworks
- Identify, document, and track defects with precision using JIRA and defect management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and quality metrics
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and security validation cycles
- Mentor QA team members and implement continuous improvement processes
- Analyze test data to provide actionable insights for product enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with full SDLC involvement
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficiency in SQL, API testing (Postman, RestAssured), and performance tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems
- ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
