Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Develop and maintain test scripts in Selenium/Cypress for regression testing cycles
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes in staging environments
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with internal stakeholders and beta clients
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Maintain detailed test documentation and QA knowledge base
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent technical testing credentials
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
