Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including Cisco routers/switches and Palo Alto firewalls
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues via remote desktop and ticketing systems
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Splunk; optimize bandwidth allocation
- Execute network security protocols including VPN configurations and IDS/IPS management
- Document network topology changes using Visio and maintain up-to-date runbooks
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises Azure/AWS environments
- Mentor junior technicians through weekly knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise network administration experience with CCNP/JNCIP certification
- Expertise in OSPF, BGP, and VLAN troubleshooting across multi-site deployments
- Proficient with Wireshark, Nmap, and network flow analysis tools
- Strong Windows Server and Linux system administration skills
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela or VMware SD-WAN)
- Ability to lift 50lbs for equipment installation and work rotating on-call schedules
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional site visits
