Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including Cisco SD-WAN, Palo Alto firewalls, and VMware NSX
- Lead complex network migrations while maintaining 99.99% uptime for critical financial systems
- Implement zero-trust security frameworks and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier-3 support for network incidents with 15-minute SLA response times
- Document network topology, create runbooks, and maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 standards
- Mentor junior technicians and lead cross-functional infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration and multi-site connectivity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in enterprise networking
- Certified Cisco CCNP Enterprise or equivalent with CCIE preferred
- Expertise in routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), load balancing (F5), and wireless networking
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python) and monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and SASE architectures
- Proven incident management experience with ITIL v4 certification
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2-7 issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
