Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Lead enterprise-level security initiatives including firewall management, intrusion detection, and compliance protocols
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning, monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD methodologies
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators through incident resolution
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain comprehensive system documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure integration
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation tool proficiency
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proven experience with enterprise networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Ability to manage high-volume incidents and perform complex root cause analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog) essential
