Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Lead system hardening initiatives and security compliance audits for PCI-DSS environments
- Automate deployment pipelines using Ansible and Terraform for 50+ production servers
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD workflows and reduce deployment time by 40%
- Provide Tier-3 support resolution for critical outages during 24/7 on-call rotations
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for disaster recovery procedures
- Mentor junior administrators and conduct quarterly technology workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows Server environments in production settings
- Expert-level proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent Azure certification
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record of reducing system downtime below 99.95% SLA thresholds
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
