Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto systems
- Implement network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection) to protect critical data assets
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG, proactively resolving issues
- Document network architecture changes and maintain detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier 3 support during network outages and cybersecurity incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration (Cisco CCNP/JNCIP preferred)
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and load balancing
- Strong understanding of network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Certification in CompTIA Network+ or equivalent required
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and SD-WAN technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
