Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Lead troubleshooting initiatives for critical outages and security incidents
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust defense protocols
- Document network configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Train junior technicians on best practices and emerging technologies
- Evaluate and recommend network hardware/software upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Certifications: CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent required
- Expert knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet devices
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) networking
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
