Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex LAN/WAN infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Lead migration projects to cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Document network architecture and create disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent industry certification
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Proficiency in network automation with Python or Ansible
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela or VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification
