Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Cypress
- Execute manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Analyze complex business requirements to create detailed test cases and user scenarios
- Lead defect lifecycle management using JIRA and implement continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement shift-left testing strategies
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in automation testing
- Expert proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Experience with healthcare or HIPAA-compliant systems highly valued
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with complex systems
