Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, and cloud solutions
- Lead network security initiatives including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Document network configurations and create technical SOPs
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical network outages and incidents
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct network audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level network engineering experience with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- Expertise in routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network virtualization
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, SDN, and network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent Juniper certification required
- Proven experience with Palo Alto/Checkpoint security solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and occasional off-hours maintenance
