Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Design strategic frameworks for emerging technology adoption and market disruption
- Present futuristic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership reports and patent disclosures
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with measurable ROI targets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurism roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts to commercial products
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, or conferences)
